Elder Lloyd Ricketts, Assistant Pastor

Elder Lloyd Ricketts is a product of Mount Zion Apostolic Church. He has been a member of the church for nearly 30 years, under the leadership of his father, the late Honourable Bishop C. O. Ricketts. Elder Ricketts is an ordained minister, elder and the Assistant Pastor of Mount Zion. 

He has dedicated his life in service to the Lord, and operates in many capacities to teach and spread the Word of God. He is currently the Adult Sunday School teacher, has taught our New Convert’s class and is often called upon as a substitute teacher for Mount Zion’s Bible College classes. Elder Ricketts is also a graduate of the Bible College.

As Christians, we are called to be kingdom builders and as such it is imperative that we reach out and spread the Gospel to those around us. Elder Ricketts holds firm to this mandate, and demonstrates it with his passion for community work. He has been instrumental in working along with others to organize many outreach events, including our annual Community BBQ. Above all, Elder Ricketts finds delight in doing the work of the Lord, as is echoed in his favourite scripture, “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psalm 37:4)
